I stumbled upon this place on accident. I was going to eat next door, but they were closed, so I found Oumi Sasaya. I'm so happy I did! They have delicious Japanese Udon. The noodles tasted like they were home made, and the soup base was very good. I ordered their beef udon, and the meat quality was good too. You can have the option to have the soup separate, but I got it together with the noodles since it seemed like most people were eating their udon this way.
I'll definitely be back to this place for several times.

A coworker told me about this place, so I went to check it out. It is a kind of like a cafe, where you order up front and they send the food to you. I think they made the menu more complicated that it should be, but it's pretty easy to order. Just choose your fish, sauce, and sides. There are a lot of options.
When we sat down, they gave us free chips and ceviche. I thought the fish could be seasoned a little more, but it was cooked perfectly.

This is one of my favorite Japanese bbq places in Torrance. Basically, you order dishes of meat, and you cook it on top of a charcoal grill that is at your table. I usually come here during happy hour where they have cheap drinks and 1/2 off appetizers. They also have discounts on the bbq grill meats too.
