amber - I love uni!


I was born and raised in Sacramento, Ca. The last 15 years, I've resided in Orange County. Growing up, my father cooked for us everyday. He would take us to restaurants and make us guess the ingredients in the dishes we ate. Okay, so he was always better than me when I was a child, but now I'd say I'm pretty good. My husband, Charn Premyodhin, is a chef and has taught me volumes about food ingredients, the way different elements are prepared, refined taste, and overall heightening my awareness of the exact state of the food I am eating. I absolutely love food and feel that it is one of the greatest enjoyments in life next to children and snowboarding.

Sushi, dry-aged prime beef, oysters, freshness of seafood, and bread.

Taste: 4   Presentation: 3   Originality: 4 Review: This is a large square of peanut butter with a topping of chocolate. A bit too much and too sweet for me. I was only able to take a bite, but it was good.

Overall: 2   Service: 3   Decor: 3   Clean: 3   Price: $$$ Review: Geez, I used to come here 3 times a week about 3 years ago. Ever since it changed owners, boy has this place gone down. We went for dim sum today and they narrowed down the dim sum selection to only 5-7 items. What happened? The dim sum was 1 - 2 days old and they were still serving it. Yuck! It was not fresh. I would not recommend coming here at all. Too bad because my husband and I had our wedding lunch here. So much for being able to go back for more.

Ugo Italian Cafe Cute place  on 8/27/2010
Overall: 4   Service: 4   Decor: 4   Clean: 4   Price: $$$ Review: This place is a great social environment. The decor is attractive and half of the restaurant is open to the outside patio. Most of the seating is outside and it is a nice sitting area. I come here for desserts which are yummy.

Overall: 4   Service: 4   Decor: 3   Clean: 4   Price: $$$ Review: Okay, out of all the pizza places, I do love Round Table! They use excellent ingredients and the pizza always tastes so good.
